London is a restless metropolitan city. Sea ports at Tilbury, which is approximately 40 km east of London are one of the historical place in London. To reach it, we must find the nearest railway station (approximately 1.5 km of the Tilbury Town station). With 10 Euro, we will get a ticket to travel daily. And good things about the railway, it can be used on any train and including a city bus.

This trip will take 35 minutes to Liverpool Street Stadium. Liverpool Street Station was opened for train traffic since 1874. Liverpool Street has a 18 flatform. This station is one of the busiest train station in the Kingdom of Great Britain, visited by 123 million people a year.

From here we can explore on foot either London or by public bus. The atmosphere at the railway station, much like at Heathrow airport may be thousands of people passing, certainly including the tourists who come to stuff the City of London in the summer.
But if you do not want trouble with congestion and traffic and weather effects, you can continue the journey from Liverpool to the Downtown Station with the subway (underground) which has a circumference or the Circle line direction.

Here you could stop and get off at every station which is close to fascinating city attractions. If you want to visit Big Ben and the London Eye you stop at Wesminster, or if you like and visit Tower Of London, Town Hill is the place you go down. Everything can be reached on foot. Or you may simply want to enjoy shiluet Thames river which divides the city of London with the establishment of the Tower of London is Tower Bridge.

After walking around through historical places in London, its time to go back to your London Hotels with lots of memorable pictures or video of those fascinating places.

The Champs Elysees stretch from Concorde square to Arc de Triomphe. They are 1910m long and 70m wide. The Champs Elysees have been superbly renovated with very large granite sidewalks and plane trees.

The Champs Elysées (Elysian fields) were originally nothing but fields, until Marie de Medicis decided in 1616 to put up a long tree-lined pathway. In 1667, Le Notre extended the vista of the Tuileries and the Champs-Elysees became a very fashionable place to walk. In 1724, the avenue was extended up to Chaillot hill, now the site of the Arc de Triomphe and the Etoile.

The actual avenue of the Champs-Elysées did not become city property until 1828, when they added footpaths and fountains. They also added gas lighting at this time.
Today, the Champs Elysées is one of the most famous streets in the world, with its cinemas, cafés, and luxury specialty shops. This special status made it the site of much growth and activity. At the very heart of Paris, it is one of the most symbolic places in the city, representative of its spirit and glory.

The Champs Elysees are a very pleasant 30 minutes walk from Champs Elysees Clemenceau metro station to Arc de Triomphe and Charles de Gaulle metro station.
Spectacular events regularly take place on Champs Elysees, the most impressing setting you can think of.
That includes new years eve gathering, the 14th of July military parade and the arrival of the Tour de France cycling race end of July.

The Champs Elysees are also one of Paris best districts for city life.
Hundreds of fashion stores, movie theaters and restaurants animate the Champs Elysees day and night. Another good reason to choose your hotel in the Champs Elysees district.

A visit to the charming Museum of the Romantic Life, dedicated to novelist George Sand (1804-76), will transport you to the countryside. In a pretty 1830s mansion at the end of a tree-lined courtyard, the small permanent collection includes drawings by Delacroix and Ingrès, among others, though Sand is the star. There are glass cases stuffed with her jewelry and snuff boxes, and even a mold of the hand of composer Frederic Chopin, one of her many lovers. The museum, about a five-minute walk from the Musée Gustave Moreau, is in the picturesque neighborhood once called New Athens, a reflection of the architectural tastes of the writers and artists who lived there. There is usually an interesting temporary exhibit. Don’t miss the garden café, open from Easter to late September.

This museum is located at the bottom of Montmartre (not far from the Moulin Rouge) in the Scheffer-Renan mansion, an artist’s home and studio built more than 150 years ago for court painter Ary Scheffer, who once taught the children of King Louis Philippe.

The museum’s main room is devoted entirely to Sand and exhibits a selection of the novelist’s personal belongings, including a collection of watercolours, lockets and jewellery (there’s a cast of Chopin’s hand!). On the other side of the courtyard is Ary Scheffer’s workshop where, from 1830 to 1858, he worked and received Chopin, Liszt, Lamartine, Turgenev, Delacroix, and other luminaries of the contemporary cultural scene.

Address
16 rue Chaptal (9th district)
Métro station : Pigalle or Blanche
Open: 10 a.m.-5.50 p.m.
Closed: Monday, bank holidays.

PS: If it’s fine, take some refreshment in the atmospheric tea salon in the garden area outside the museum and pretend you’re a 19th century romantic…
